Went to this beach last weekend with a friend from work who lives in Geelong. This is the ocean - next stop, Tasmania and beyond to Antartica. The water was pretty warm, nice for swimming in. The sand was also quite nice and not too hot this day. Sometimes the sand is too hot to walk on barefoot, which is my preference - bare foot. We strolled and sat and strolled and sat out some more, had a few beers, then went back to her place and had a late lunch. T'was a gorgeous day at the beach. I wish I could go more often...I don't like going swimming alone - very dangerous given the dangerous creatures in the ocean around here.
