So after hearing some disappointing news at work today, I went to debrief a little with a friend, and we decided to hit the road for the afternoon and get out of town for some perspective. We drove to Rainbow Valley, which is about 70km south of Alice Springs, and another 22kms of bush road from the Stuart Highway into the site. T'was a gorgeous winter day out, with 29C of sunlight streaming down upon us. I just love the rock formation here, how it's eroded over time. It was super peaceful out there, with only the sounds of the crickets to break the silence.
