Nothing New - the wait is on

So nothing new. I did get my degrees certified, after much hesitation from my doc. It is a simple thing but yet eludes British Columbians all over. I used to sign off on documents easily. I want to mail them out to who needs them, but the recruitment agency wants us to hold off until the visa nominations are made. So the time is long while I await the next step of this journey. I visited the beach today, taking in more memories to keep me through the dry years in landlocked Alice Springs. I've been living on one shore or another for the past few years, and dearly love the ocean, from any side. The desert may create in me a new desire. If the desert is too hot, I may be beckoning the far reaches of Nunavut for vacation work, just to cool off. I bought a pair of shorts a couple of days ago. I haven't worn shorts for years, mostly skirts, but I reckon I'll have to give on the skirt in favor of shorts. These ones have pockets, which is awesome.

So in the meantime, I'll get some more ocean in before I'm ready to cross it.
